Hole-In-One in the Midst of 180 of Your Closest Friends!

Sunday, October 7, 2007 marked the date of the Annual Bonaventure Country Club Members Appreciation Event, a free, yearly invitational for members at Bonaventure Country Club. In attendance were members of the Bonaventure community and 180 witnesses to one heck of a shot. Well, not all 180 saw the ball go in the hole... In-fact, Paul Kavanaugh did not even see the ball go in after he swung his 7 iron on hole #5 of the West Course for his hole-in-one. Paul was cautious not to hit the ball over the green into the bunker and gauged a 178 yard shot factoring in the ever present hole #5 wind. Bonaventure staff and members made their way out to say congratulations and word spread fast. The picture below was taken on the 8th tee box where you can see the smile had not yet worn off! The day was capped off by a banquet and dinner for the member's event and... 18 pitchers of beer purchased in celebration by Paul. Congratulations on your hole in one!
